Welcome to Word Up Barrie

Word Up Barrie is a volunteer run group for writers and authors of all genres. If you write, that means you! We've welcomed writers of poetry, fiction and science fiction, music lyrics, spoken word, hip hop and more.

Come out to see us the second Thursday of every month at Unity Market and Cafe in Barrie to share your work and meet other writers.
